URANIUM EXPLORATION PROJECTS

Properties Overview...

BAIE-JOHAN-BEETZ PROJECT

The Baie-Johan-Beetz property consists of 32 mining claims covering 1800 hectares, or 18 sq. km. located along the Eastern border of the Wakeham sedimentary basin, or 5 km North of Highway # 138 linking Havre St-Pierre to Natashquan. An airborne geophysical survey conducted in 1968 identified a 850 meter-long radiometric anomaly on the Jourdan’ claims. Bulk sampling and core drilling were later carried out on this anomaly which outlined a 50 + meter wide uraniferous zone which is open along strike and at depth.

WAKEHAM BASIN PROJECT

The Wakeham property is located along the North-West border of the Wakeham sedimentary basin, about 90 km North-West of the Baie-Johan-Beetz property. Exploration drilling carried out by Jourdan in the Wakeham sedimentary basin has demonstrated the existence of two uraniferous bodies of sedimentary origin. To our knowledge, it is the first time that this kind of uranium mineralization is discovered in the Wakeham basin and we believe that other similar uranium bodies will be discovered in years to come, most likely in the large fault zones across the Wakeham basin.
